Quality Assurance:
- Pagoda’s no-compromise focus on quality earned it the ‘Self Certification Status’ from Tata Steel for its Operator’s Cabins in the year 2000.
- Stringent quality checks and documentation is done at various stages of process life cycle by dedicated and qualified Quality personnel
- Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) are submitted for client approval prior to manufacturing.
- Skilled workmanship coupled with stringent internal inspection procedures ensure that the final product is of world class quality.
- Special processes like Welding and Painting are done by qualified and certified personnel.
- Standard Operating Procedures are maintained and followed for various jobs.
- WPS, PQR and WPQ are prepared and certified for various welding processes.
- Pagoda has tied up with NABL approved Testing Laboratory for most of the Destructive and Non-Destructive Testing of Raw Material and Finished goods. However, Dye Penetrant Test is performed inhouse by qualified Level-II Engineers.
- All measuring instruments are duly calibrated.
Continuous improvement:
- Product development : Pagoda believes in the philosophy of continuous improvement. Its management spends considerable amount of time in Research & Development for new Product Design by using latest CAD software like Autodesk Product Design Suite.
- Process Development : Continuous improvement in Supply Chain Management processes are sought using in-house tools. Pagoda has also implemented ISO 9001:2008 since July 2009. Currently Pagoda is working on 5S implementation at its workshop.
